Cg In The Art—the artistic name of Argentine creator Cristina Godoy Martínez—began her studies at age twelve, focusing on animation, humorous illustration, and advertising art, and graduating with the production of a film. She subsequently attended a school of applied arts; her four years of study there qualified her for admission to the School of Fine Arts. She held exhibitions across Argentina before settling in the United States, eventually taking her art to Europe. She explores the boundaries of creative freedom through a multidisciplinary approach encompassing painting and the complex technique of mosaic work; her oeuvre has evolved from a realist foundation toward a freer form of expression that deliberately casts aside the constraints of traditional styles.
